Split the PDF into chunks of N pages each.

How it works

How to use Split PDF

  1. 1
Drop your PDF. Drag and drop a PDF file, or click to choose one.
  2. 2
Set the split interval. Enter the number of pages per output file. For example, entering 2 splits a 6-page PDF into three 2-page PDFs.
  3. 3
Click Run Split PDF. The tool creates multiple PDFs using pdf-lib, each containing the specified number of pages.
  4. 4
Download all parts. Each split part is listed with its name and size. Download individually or all at once.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How does the split interval work?

Enter N, and the tool creates a new PDF every N pages. A 10-page PDF split every 3 pages yields parts of 3, 3, 3, and 1 pages.

Can I split by custom page ranges?

This version splits uniformly every N pages. For extracting specific pages, use the Extract Pages tool instead.

Are the split parts valid PDFs?

Yes. Each part is a complete, valid PDF that opens in any viewer.

Is my original file modified?

No. The original file is read only; the split parts are new files generated in your browser.
