Convert PDF pages to JPG images. A single page downloads directly; multiple pages are zipped.

PDF to JPG converts each page of your PDF into a JPG image. For single-page PDFs, you get one JPG. For multi-page PDFs, all pages are converted and packaged into a ZIP file for easy download. The conversion runs locally using OffscreenCanvas.

How it works

How to use PDF to JPG

  1. 1
Drop your PDF. Drag and drop a PDF file, or click to choose one.
  2. 2
Choose resolution. Select scale 1×, 2×, or 3×. Higher scales produce larger, sharper images.
  3. 3
Click Run PDF to JPG. Each page is rendered to a JPG image using PDF.js and OffscreenCanvas in a Web Worker.
  4. 4
Download the result. Single page: one JPG file. Multiple pages: a ZIP containing all JPGs.

Features

What this tool does

  • Converts every page to a JPG image
  • Choose 1×, 2×, or 3× resolution
  • Multi-page output packaged as ZIP
  • No upload — runs entirely in your browser

Limitations

Things to know

  • Requires OffscreenCanvas support (all modern browsers; older browsers show a message)
  • Higher scales increase memory usage and processing time
  • Embedded fonts are rendered (not extracted) — text in the JPG is not searchable

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Why do I get a ZIP for multi-page PDFs?

A ZIP keeps all images together in one download with predictable filenames (page-1.jpg, page-2.jpg, etc.).

What scale should I choose?

1× is screen resolution (fast, small files). 2× is good for printing. 3× is for high-quality archival — larger files and slower processing.

Why does the tool need OffscreenCanvas?

OffscreenCanvas allows rendering in a Web Worker without blocking the main thread. All modern browsers support it. If yours does not, the tool shows a friendly message.

Is the text in the JPG searchable?

No. The output is a raster image. Text is visually rendered but not searchable. Use the original PDF for text search.
